Grand Erie Elementary Teachers’ Federation
The Grand Erie Elementary Teachers’ Federation is an affiliate of the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO). We are a professional organization committed to protecting and supporting the rights of our over one thousand members employed by the Grand Erie District School Board that serves the students of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk counties.
The GEETF Local Released Executive is composed of the President, the First Vice President who serves as Chief Negotiator and Grievance Officer and the Second Vice President who also serves as Treasurer.
The non-released Executive is composed of the Secretary, Health & Safety Officer and eight Members-at-Large.
There are nine (9) Standing Committees and the Local is active in providing our members with professional and union development opportunities.
The GEETF protects the rights of our members while promoting excellence in publicly-funded education in Ontario.
